Liz Johnson and Anne Adams, Sew4Home

My sister and I, owners of and partners in the popular website Sew4Home.com, had just arrived at the TCC hotel last September and were standing in line, waiting to check in. It was a rather long line, so what do you do? You chat with the folks behind you. Behind us was Michele Muska, a delightful gal from Simplicity Creative Group. We exchanged pleasantries about the weather and unpleasantries about air travel, and then started talking about what we did. The connection was instant. “You do that?! Incredible, because I do this! We have to do it together!” We continued to run into one another throughout the days of the conference, and by the end had arranged for a unique Simplicity promotion on Sew4Home. It was wildly successful, and we have continued to work together on new and exciting promotions and projects. In addition, we’ve met dozens of other folks and friends through Michele’s contacts. Click HERE and HERE for two great blog posts about just one of our connections:
