All My Own

Once upon a time in the Midwest there was a little girl who created art to suit herself. She grew up, had kids, collected a lot of stuff, and created a lot more art. She had a store to share her love of mixing the old with the new, and then she was done with that. She traveled the world to shows, judging, lecturing and teaching, and she was done with that. Now she is back home once again creating art to suit herself, and hopefully you. Welcome to the irrelevent array of homemade frivolity that is All My Own.

Century Farmhouse

It almost sounds too good to be true: handmade soaps created in an historic 140 year-old log farmhouse that has been in one family’s ownership since the 1880s, located in the lush Kettle Moraine region of southeastern Wisconsin, and made to pay homage to a beloved grandmother who crafted her own soaps in a bubbling pot in the back garden. The amazing thing is that it’s all true!

Rachael Brooke

Rachael Brooke Art Jewelry is a one-woman art studio in Madison, WI.  I’ve been hawking my wares and teaching others my skills since 1998.  Customers tend to use the same words to describe my work: simple, striking, elegant.  It’s the repetition of those words that led me to use “simply striking style” as my tag line.  My newest work is the Vintage Redux Collection which features jewelry hand-cut and fabricated from old metal objects – retro aluminum drinkware, serving trays and candy, tea or tobacco tins all on 100% recycled sterling silver wire.  Green living has never been so colorful!  Please visit my booth to watch me create jewelry on the spot and pick out your very own piece of “simply striking style”.  Visit Her shop

Valerie Burgess Collage Designs

I strive to create collages that have a classical appearance. I look for vintage themed papers and images for a nostalgic feel. I am especially attracted to ephemera that is stylistically French. I enjoy the process of assembling the various components that evolve into the finished piece. I start with canvas.  I then assemble the collage with various papers and a central image. Next, I cover the assemblage with gel medium so that I can add another layer of acrylic paint. The encaustics are covered in a beeswax and resin medium. Embellishments are added. The beaded trim is added and then the wire for hanging. The altered journals and cones are assembled for collage in a like manner. Each is original and one of a kind. Visit her shop
